Senior Developer

Summary

Join Chartis, a Design, Marketing and Technology Consultancy that values collaboration and innovation, as a Senior Developer focusing on Wordpress and Hubspot sites. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress and Hubspot websites for clients, leading development teams, and mentoring junior developers. The position is fully remote, full-time or contract-to-perm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in WordPress development
• Experience in developing custom WordPress plugins, WP Engine and themes
• Experience in developing custom Hubspot plugins and themes
• Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Ability to go from mockups to implementation
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD
• Experience with Elementor Website Builder
• Expertise with frontend web frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, and jQuery
• Debugging frontend issues using Chrome / Firefox DevTools
• Experience with WordPress/Hubspot site optimization and speed optimization
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading development teams is a plus
• Experience working in a contractor capacity a plus
