Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Must also have four years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related position
  • Experience must include: Working with D365 BC in development and infrastructure related tasks, including working with common third-party add-on solutions and integration with D365 BC (Insight Works, Lanham, ChargeLogic)
  • Knowledge of Dynamics platform data structures​, functionality, and version control tools​
  • Experience with Power Platform or ERP Platform
  • Experience with Visual Studio​
  • Experience with reporting tools​
  • Software experience in business-to-business environment. ​
  • Experience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with Dynamics platform​
  • Experience with Microsoft stack technologies. ​
  • Must also have certification in Dynamics platform or D365 BC development

Responsibilities

  • Analyze our Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central product on behalf of our clients’ system requirements and business objectives
  • Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems
  • Create, design, and modify Business Central objects including Tables, Pages, Reports, as well as XML Ports
  • Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning
  • Use the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems
  • Documenting features created or modified
  • Working with functional consultants to understand features and to relay accurately and effectively what changes have been made
  • Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
  • Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared
  • Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment
  • Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs
  • Perform gap analysis and suggest functionality to be added to Business Central
  • Outline and document instructions for users to use Business Central
  • Prepare and suggest reports that convey data pertaining to a client’s request
