Senior Developer Relations Engineer

Summary

Join the Sui Foundation's Developer Relations team as an engineer and help onboard the next billion users to Web3! You will leverage your 7+ years of software engineering experience and expertise in storage protocols to provide technical guidance and support to Sui developers. Your responsibilities include understanding community goals, creating feedback loops, translating feedback into product insights, and delivering training sessions. Based in APAC, you'll use your strong communication skills to explain complex concepts and advocate for Sui. This is a fully remote role offering a high-impact, complex, and multi-disciplinary program within a world-class team.

Requirements

• Based in APAC
• 7+ years of Software Engineering or combination of Software and DevRel Engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of storage protocols, including file- and blob-based solutions, and Web2 and Web3 (e.g. S3, Azure Blob, IPFS, Arweave, Filecoin)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interest in Web3
• Good understanding of developer profiles, developer markets and trends within Europe, gained either through developer-facing work experience or personal intuition

Responsibilities

• Understand the community's goals, and provide technical expertise and direction to help the developers navigate their journey of building on Sui
• Create and own the feedback loop between the community and the network
• Translate developer feedback into meaningful product insights for future product development
• Develop and deliver remote and in-person training sessions and workshops for new and existing Sui developers

Preferred Qualifications

• Home base in or proximity to a strong developer base
• Prior DevRel experience, or related developer-facing function (e.g. Solutions Engineering)
• Experience with blockchain, cryptography and/or Web3 engineering
• Experience with Move and/or Rust programming language(s)
