Summary
Join the Sui Foundation's Developer Relations team and help onboard the next billion users to Web3! As an engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise in Sui Move and the Sui ecosystem to collaborate with developers, providing expert guidance and support. You will translate developer feedback into actionable insights, create and deliver training sessions, and effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. This role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, 2+ years of smart contract development, proficiency in Rust or Move, and strong communication skills. Based in APAC, fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is essential. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely and be part of a world-class team with significant growth potential.
Requirements
- Based in APAC and professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
- 5+ years of Software Engineering or combination of Software and DevRel Engineering experience
- 2+ years of smart contract development or full stack web3 application development experience
- Proficiency with Rust, Move, Solidity or another smart contract language
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of developer profiles, developer markets and trends within Asia Pacific, gained either through developer-facing work experience or personal intuition
Responsibilities
- Understand the community's goals, and provide technical expertise and direction to help the developers navigate their journey of building on Sui
- Create and own the feedback loop between the community and the network
- Translate developer feedback into meaningful product insights for future product development
- Develop and deliver remote and in-person training sessions and workshops for new and existing Sui developers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building developer tools or tooling related software
- Experience creating technical tutorials, or educational content
- Prior DevRel experience, or related developer-facing function (e.g. Solutions Engineering)
