Senior Development Project Manager

Summary

The job is for a Development Project Manager at Optiweb. The role involves managing multiple projects, communicating with clients and internal teams, preparing project documentation, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and more. Requirements

• At least 4 years of project management experience in development
• Knowledge of the process of developing digital projects (different methodologies and tools)
• Affinity for technical understanding of web platforms and tech stacks (PIM, Magento, Shopware)
• Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Desire to understand business environments of our clients
• Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, HotJar, etc.)
• A creative mind to overcome technical challenges
• Great teamwork and ability to give (and receive) constructive feedback
• Fluency in Slovene and English language (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Managing 3–5 development projects simultaneously
• Competently communicating with clients and dev-ops, front- and back-end developers, designers, and other colleagues involved in the project
• Sprint planning, resource planning and monitoring project deliveries in line with the timeline and the budget
• Preparing project documentation (functional specification, wireframes layout, flow charts, timelines, buyers journey…)
• Monitoring and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams using technical and people competencies
• Preparation of reports about the work progress and the status of the project
• Coordinating retrospectives and performing activities after the end of the project
• Coordination of change and update requests and support tickets
• Monitoring project metrics, monthly invoicing and reporting based on pre-agreed payment dynamics
• Identifying, evaluating and managing project-related risks
• Managing internal and external escalations and challenges with support of team leads
• Consulting our clients about upcoming changes, requirements and innovations in the field of development
• Supporting the sales department in signing new businesses, pitching and preparation of business contracts
