Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

You will play a key role in optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, enhancing system observability, and strengthening security and compliance. This position requires 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering and strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration. You will collaborate with developers and operations teams, mentor mid-level engineers, and contribute to a fast-paced, agile environment. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred) and container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD (Groovy scripting a plus)
• Knowledge of Dynatrace or similar monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Good understanding of Linux system administration and networking
• Familiarity with security best practices in a DevOps environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Optimizing CI/CD Pipelines: Streamline deployment workflows by designing and implementing Jenkins pipelines and OpenShift CI/CD processes, enhancing automation and efficiency
• Ensuring Scalable Infrastructure: Manage and optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and performance to support business-critical applications
• Enhancing System Observability: Implement Dynatrace monitoring, log analysis, and automated alerts to proactively detect and resolve performance issues, improving system reliability
• Strengthening Security & Compliance: Enforce best practices in infrastructure security, including SSL/TLS certificate management and access control, ensuring adherence to industry standards
• Supporting Incident & Release Management: Work closely with developers and operations teams to facilitate smooth, secure, and reliable software releases, minimizing downtime and disruptions
• Fostering Collaboration & Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor for mid-level engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing, continuous improvement, and best practices in cloud infrastructure and automation
