Summary

Join Capco's Technology Delivery Team as a Senior DevOps Engineer and contribute to the quality and implementation of software products for our clients. This remote position, preferably based near Warsaw, requires collaboration with various teams to identify and evaluate solution requirements. You will investigate and propose strategic solutions, provide client consulting, and map requirements into standard service solutions. Requirements

  • Experience in AWS
  • Hands on experience with Linux
  • Hands on experience with Linux scripting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Bamboo, Github Actions
  • Knowledge of source control such as BitBucket, SVN
  • Knowledge of Java build management systems, Maven preferred
  • Knowledge of Python package management .i.e. pip
  • Knowledge of JFrog
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Strategies + Best Practices

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business units, application teams, infrastructure areas and vendors to identity, review and evaluate the solution requirements
  • Investigate and propose strategic fits for virtualization, consolidation and rationalization solution opportunities within the infrastructure or business
  • Provide client consulting and planning guidance as applicable for moderate to complex projects
  • Map requirements into standard services solution, identity opportunities for integrating to existing or reuse technology and provide cost effective solutions for moderate to large highly complex project/programs/initiatives
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement, along with a great attitude, solid communication skills, willingness to learn and collaborate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Build / Branching strategies
  • Docker
  • Development tools such as IntelliJ, VSCode
  • Infrastructure as code – Ansible
  • Some coding knowledge such as Java, Python
