Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Capco Poland as a remote DevOps Engineer, contributing to the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Based in Poland (Warsaw preferred), with potential travel to London or Warsaw initially, you will oversee system operations, automate processes, lead migrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements

• 7+ years in DevOps or software engineering, with expertise in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
• Strong in scripting (Linux Shell, Groovy), configuration management (Ansible), and monitoring/logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Linux Shell scripting, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (or Azure/GCP), Git, Groovy, and CI/CD tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions independently, and meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, automated deployments, and infrastructure management
• Oversee system operations, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and database configurations
• Automate infrastructure processes like configuration management, security scans, and system monitoring
• Lead system migrations and evaluate new technologies through proof-of-concepts (POCs)
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and share best practices
• Promote DevOps innovation, tools, and practices across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Bitbucket, SonarQube, PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle, Prometheus, Grafana, Spring Boot, ELK Stack, Hadoop, and Spark
• Authentication frameworks (Kerberos, JWT), REST API development, and Spring Boot
