Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join DIGESTAID, a startup developing AI solutions for digestive healthcare, as their first DevOps engineer. You'll work closely with the CTO and COO to build solutions that improve engineering and R&D team efficiency, reduce time to market for new AI models, and potentially take on managerial responsibilities in the future. This role offers a chance to gain MLOps experience and contribute to a company focused on using AI for good.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer science, software engineering, systems engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience advising and implementing DevOps practices in engineering teams
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment in containerised environments
• Knowledge of security practices such as identity and access management, authentication and authorization protocols
• Eagerness and openness to learn whatever is necessary to deliver
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities

Work closely with the CTO and COO to build solutions that improve the efficiency and happiness of the engineering and R&D teams as well as reduce the lead time to take new AI models to market

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
• Experience with Google Cloud environments and products
• Previous experience in technical leadership and management
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience in API Management
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools
• Experience with ArgoCD or other CD tools
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build, Google Cloud Developer Tools
• Experience in DNS and SSL management solutions and approaches
• Experience in software testing automation
