Senior DevOps Engineer

Join ezCater, the leading food for work technology company in the US, as a Senior DevOps Engineer to guide the MSI Engineering team on cloud infrastructure expansion and support software development life cycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps principles, Azure DevOps, Linux/PowerShell/Bash, docker, AKS
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
• Have a good understanding and have the experience of creating Azure services using Infrastructure as code
• 2+ years experience with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
• Extensive full-stack web development experience
• Working knowledge of server-side and client-side frameworks. Java and Coldfusion (nice to have)
• Good knowledge SQL / relational database experience (we use AzureSQL)
• Goal orientation and a record of success managing cloud infrastructure
• A strong appetite for solving problems while dealing with high levels of ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Learn the existing MSI cloud (we use Azure) and on-premise environment. In the meantime, create documentation for future reference and training
• Build and maintain cloud CI/CD pipelines
• Automate and maintain code deployment to various environments in the cloud
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and metrics capabilities
• Monitor Azure System health dashboard, metrics and security alerts
• Work closely with Engineers to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and architecture of our cloud environment
• Manage and scale cloud-based containerized infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new features
• Carryout software/system/cloud infra upgrades/updates in a timely manner with Engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise
• Cost saving – ensure we are spending wisely on cloud infrastructure
