Senior DevOps Engineer

Experience managing remote engineering teams across multiple time zones is a key requirement

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in observability tools (New Relic, DataDog) for proactive outage reduction and rapid detection
• Solid understanding of application architectures and networking principles
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts
• Strong grasp of Unix/Linux systems, including system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols
• Comprehensive networking expertise encompassing network theory, protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, MAC, IP, DNS, OSI), and load balancing
• Proven experience with containerization and orchestration platforms
• Hands-on coding experience in Python, TypeScript, or Golang
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK
• Demonstrated ability to deliver using CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Significant experience with data streaming technologies (Kinesis, SQS, Kafka)
