Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior DevOps Engineer at NEC Digital, where the employee will manage infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure security and compliance, optimize system performance, and stay updated with the latest technologies. The candidate should have experience with AWS, Terraform, Circle CI, GitHub, Linux system administration, and containerization technologies.

Requirements

• Experienced DevOps Engineer with proven experience with AWS, Terraform, Circle CI, and GitHub
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripts
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and (optionally) orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Passionate about staying up to date with the latest technological advancements
• Knowledgeable about best practices and regulatory requirements for security

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain infrastructure supporting large scale public infrastructure
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Circle CI
• Ensure smooth and frequent releases
• Use monitoring solutions to track performance, uptime, and resource usage
• Collaborate with development teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions
• Document processes and systems
• Ensure infrastructure and applications meet security standards and comply with relevant regulations
• Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation
