Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join RELEX Solutions as a DevOps Engineer and contribute to enhancing the quality of our mission-critical system. You will be part of a specialized agile team responsible for improving the quality of our software, maintaining releases and bug fixes, developing automated tools, and designing testing infrastructure. The role involves working with various technologies, including Gitlab pipelines, shell/bash and python scripting, and Linux environments. The team is based in Helsinki, but remote work in other RELEX offices is possible. RELEX offers a flexible work environment and values diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Experience in building, maintaining and optimizing pipelines, preferably in Gitlab
• Knowledge of shell/bash, python scripting
• Good Linux troubleshooting skills
• Experience in Infrastructure as code, like Terraform and Ansible
• Teamwork spirit to help and teach your colleagues

Responsibilities

• Help to enhance quality of our software by providing test environments
• Maintain software releases and bug fixes
• Develop automated tools to enable enhanced testing
• Design testing infrastructure for enabling migration to Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in programming languages, e.g. Go, Java
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Experience in monitoring
• Eagerness to solve complex problems and learn new things
• Drive to help others become more productive by providing easy and faster tools for them to use
