Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join ReversingLabs' Sample Analysis team and contribute to the development and maintenance of systems for static analysis of software samples. You will design systems to manage and process millions of data points daily, using various analysis tools and technologies like Python, RabbitMQ, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes. The team focuses on scalability and resilience, employing a CI/CD development cycle and established coding practices. You will research, design, and extend the system to support static analysis tools, improving quality and scale while integrating new technologies. This role involves working with a microservices architecture and collaborating with the development and other teams within ReversingLabs. Requirements

• Proficient in GNU/Linux environments
• Experience with distributed microservice architectures
• Advanced skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and similar scripting languages
• Expertise in managing and automating Windows Virtual Machine instances
• Hands-on experience with automation/configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Experience with VM image build automation (Packer)
• Solid understanding and experience with Docker Swarm, Kubernetes
• Proficient with KVM, VMware
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar systems for automating software development workflows
• Skilled in using monitoring systems like Grafana, Zabbix, and Alerta
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and time series databases (InfluxDB, ClickHouse)
• A detail-oriented personality with strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience working with message queue broker systems such as RabbitMQ
• B.S. or M.S. degree in a related field
• 3+ years of professional programming experience and/or DevOps experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, configure, maintain, monitor, and tune systems and cybersecurity systems to ensure the optimum level of performance, reliability, and security
• You will be involved in addressing the challenges of the architecture of distributed systems, micro-services, processing, logging, storage, and the reach of large amounts of data, scalability, optimization, and development of in-house technology
• Your main tasks will include planning, system configuration, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance, while closely collaborating with the development team, as well as the other teams within ReversingLabs
• You will be using Python, Powershell, Linux, Windows, and a number of open source tools to deliver the services

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest and knowledge in the Cybersecurity domain
• Knowledge in text and/or image processing
