Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Super Dispatch is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to maintain and improve their infrastructure and software development processes. The role involves building and maintaining highly available systems and pipelines, automating processes, improving scalability and reliability of the systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps roles
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and software development
• Experienced in building highly available and scalable services with a solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes
• Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
• Ability to work with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Skilled in managing message brokers like RabbitMQ and their cloud-based equivalents
• Proficient in Git and version control workflows

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (Google Cloud)
• Automate testing and deployment processes
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Establish and enforce DevOps best practices
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement security measures and best practices
• Mentor and coach team members
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Certificates in related fields (Cloud Computing, Infrastructure, CI/CD)
