Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join our Hashgraph DevOps team as an engineer to support operations of the consensus nodes in the Hedera testnet, previewnet, and preproduction environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of DevOps or software development experience
• At least 3 years of experience in running AWS / GCP / Azure cloud workloads
• At least 3 years of experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible
• Deeply familiar with operating and troubleshooting issues in a Linux environment
• Deeply familiar with git
• Deeply familiar with DevOps and software development lifecycle best practices
• Familiarity with Jenkins Pipelines
• Good written communication skills
• Comfortable and capable of productively working in a fully remote, no-office environment with a fully remote team on the same continent

Responsibilities

• Build automation to reduce toil work, improve configuration management processes, and improve infrastructure as code
• Liaise with the operations of the members of the Hedera Governing Council
• Build such infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) via Terraform, and automate preproduction and release workflows via Ansible and Jenkins
• Support 24/7 operational needs including on-call incident response in support of the Hedera network
