Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with CI/CD pipelines, deploy upgrades and fixes, automate tasks, improve monitoring, manage security and system capacity, design and deploy Kubernetes pods, maintain production databases, design architectures, manage new modules, and tune Nginx rules. The ideal candidate possesses solid DevOps experience, strong software architecture skills, scripting expertise (shell and/or Python), Linux/Unix administration experience, AWS experience, knowledge of versioning and CI/CD tools, Kubernetes and Docker experience, and advanced English skills. Requirements

• Solid experience as DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in software architecture techniques and scripting languages such as shell script and/or Python
• Experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of Versioning, Continuous Integration, and traffic monitoring tools
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
• Advanced English

Responsibilities

• Work with CI/CD pipeline for our java-based application stack
• Deploy upgrades and fixes into the live platform
• Automate tasks to minimize downtime and improve consistency
• Identify and document ways of improving monitoring and system resource utilization
• Manage security, system capacity configuration and upgrades
• Designing, deploying, securing and updating pods in Kubernetes
• Maintenance in production DataBase
• Design Architectures
• Manage new modules
• Tuning and ensuring the nginx rules
