Senior DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will automate and manage CI/CD pipelines, develop and maintain GitLab CI pipelines, and manage Kubernetes clusters. You will also monitor staging systems, develop CD pipelines for ISIDOR, and be responsible for the DevOps strategy. The ideal candidate possesses several years of experience in a DevOps role, strong cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, Linux), and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• Completed studies, for example, in business informatics, computer science, or comparable training as a specialist IT professional
• Several years of professional experience in a DevOps role, ideally as a Senior DevOps Engineer
• Sound knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and Linux shell scripting
• Experience in the implementation and administration of CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab
• Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Very good knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Enjoyment of teamwork and strong communication skills to present complex technical solutions
• Very good English skills and fluent German skills are required

Responsibilities

• Automate and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Further develop and support the technologies used via Terraform
• Maintain and further develop GitLab CI pipelines to ensure smooth and automated CI/CD processes
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including configuration, scaling, and ensuring stability
• Monitor staging systems and automated tests
• Develop and maintain CD pipelines for the deployment of ISIDOR in internal/external environments
• Be responsible for the conception, implementation, and maintenance of the DevOps strategy
