Senior DevOps Engineer

Requirements

• Proven DevOps background with strong operational (Ops) experience
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Git
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of OpenStack and Linux environments
• Practical experience with OpenBao or HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
• English language skills at minimum B2 level
• Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required

Responsibilities

• Deploying cloud resources via Terraform for defining VPCs on OpenStack, with fine-tuning performed via Ansible running from a private GitLab instance through CI/CD pipelines
• Building custom OpenStack images via Packer, using GitLab and Ansible for automated preparation
• Using OpenBao or HashiCorp Vault to create and propagate secrets for securing VPC environments
• Configuring virtual firewalls on SDNs via Terraform or Ansible

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Fortigate or OPNSense firewalls
• Knowledge of advanced secrets management practices
• Understanding of encryption technologies for networks, disks, and preferably CPU memory
