You will lead initiatives related to critical infrastructure development in new and existing data centers. You will create and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate with vendors, and manage projects from inception to completion. Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, technical procurement, and logistics, preferably in the infrastructure or data center industry
• Have 8+ years of experience supporting strategic sourcing, including vendor negotiations, contract management, process improvement and operational analysis
• Possess proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MEP
• Possess the ability to interpret relevant AHJ codes/regulations that might influence procurement decisions
• Be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
• Possess proven ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Have an in-depth understanding of supply chain and logistics operations, including regulatory and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process for critical infrastructure projects, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
• Work closely with engineering, operations, construction and delivery teams to identify key supply risks impacting on-time data center delivery and implement proactive mechanisms to mitigate risks
• Develop and manage procurement strategies for technical components, negotiating with vendors to secure the best terms and total cost of ownership
• Lead the development of long-term supply agreements to mitigate capacity and delivery risks, drive cost savings, enable faster DC delivery, and embodied carbon reduction
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
• Lead infrastructure development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in supply chain and logistics operations, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold a master’s degree
• Have PMP, CSCP, or equivalent certification
• Possess the ability to read mechanical one lines or electrical SLD's
