Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in data management, enterprise architecture, and analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and data governance
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, big data platforms, and cloud-based solutions
  • Experience integrating data systems into enterprise-wide architectures
  • Advanced understanding of machine learning, AI, and business intelligence tools
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission and enterprise architecture goals
  • Serve as a thought leader on data, analytics, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies to drive innovation
  • Partner with senior leaders to integrate data strategy into overall business and IT strategy
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement enterprise architecture frameworks that support data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure seamless integration of data platforms, tools, and processes within the broader enterprise architecture
  • Drive the alignment of data systems with business objectives, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and efficiency
  • Oversee data architecture to ensure that it supports advanced analytics, business intelligence, and real-time decision-making
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Implement robust data security and privacy practices within the enterprise architecture
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data assets across the enterprise
  • Lead the development of advanced analytics, machine learning, and data visualization capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with strategic objectives
  • Leverage data insights to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and revenue growth
  • Design and oversee scalable data infrastructure aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess their potential to enhance enterprise and data architecture
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment of technology solutions with organizational goals
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, architects, and analysts
  • Promote a collaborative environment between data and IT teams, ensuring alignment on enterprise architecture goals
  • Mentor team members to develop technical and leadership capabilities
