Summary

Join Mixbook as a Senior Director, Finance, reporting to the CFO, and lead the company's financial strategy. You will oversee financial operations, lead and develop high-performing finance and accounting teams, and drive long-term planning and budgeting. This role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and experience in DTC ecommerce and SaaS. You will partner with the executive team and stakeholders to guide financial decisions and champion system improvements. Requirements

  • 15+ years in Finance, with at least 10 years in leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, modeling, and analysis, particularly in DTC ecommerce and SaaS
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and influence across all levels
  • Skilled in financial analysis, detail-oriented, and proficient in building and using complicated data sources, financial modeling, data analytics, and multi-year projections
  • Elite financial acumen combined with high analytical horsepower
  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic. Must be tenacious, with the emotional intelligence to know when to push harder and when to look for alternative approaches
  • Highest ethical standards, integrity, humility, authenticity, credibility, and character

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CFO and business partners to develop and execute financial strategies that align with Mixbookโ€™s growth and objectives
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, including finance and accounting teams based in the US and Moldova, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration while ensuring the team is equipped to meet our business needs
  • Drive long-term planning, budgeting, and financial analysis including robust forecasting, scenario planning, and modeling to guide Mixbookโ€™s growth and strategic decisions
  • Partner with the Controller to ensure a timely and efficient close process aligned with GAAP
  • Proactively manage cash flow, capital allocation, and working capital to support our continued profitable growth and financial stability while ensuring precise reporting and forecasting
  • Guide financial decisions related to product and marketing investments, pricing strategies, and go-to-market execution through collaboration with the executive team and key stakeholders
  • Responsible for enhancing and scaling the systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure financial discipline and the integrity of data
  • Prepare Board and Investor presentations and present key financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to the Executive Team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP and/or planning tool deployments preferred
