You will work closely with various teams to improve internal reporting, build dashboards, and provide financial insights to executive leadership. Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking, with a focus on high-growth tech companies
- Excellent business partnering skills
- Commercially astute
- Demonstrated excellence in business analytics, operations, tools, and processes
- Advanced Excel skills; and experience navigating through systems enhancements with financial planning tools
- Extensive experience in financial modeling, forecasting, M&A analysis, and due diligence
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience working remotely
- Must be eligible to work in the region of hire without sponsorship from an employer now and/or in the future
Responsibilities
- Be a business partner with operations, sales, and HR teams to improve internal reporting processes and give commercial insight
- Work with the data team to build dashboards and visualization tools
- Perform in-depth analysis of company performance, including identifying key KPIs and metrics
- Streamline processes to improve the performance of the company
- Perform operationally focused financial analysis and data gathering to support strategic and business development initiatives
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including preparation of annual budgets, monthly flash reporting, and quarterly forecasts
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership on capital allocation, M&A, and investment decisions
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investments, corporate development transactions, and strategic initiatives
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and KPI analyses to support data-driven decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry
- SaaS company experience
- Prior experience working directly with a CFO and/or in a senior leadership role
- Experience with a successful exit event (IPO or acquisition)
- Advanced financial certifications (CFA, CPA)
- MBA or other advanced degree
