Senior Director, Information Security

Summary

Join WelbeHealth as a Senior Director, Information Security and lead the development and implementation of our cybersecurity roadmap. You will be responsible for enterprise-wide security support, incident response, and security awareness training. This fully remote position (with up to 20% travel) requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with extensive experience in information security. You will collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field, required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information security, with at least five (5) years served in a leadership role
• Proven experience developing and managing large-scale information security programs in fast-paced high growth environments
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and cybersecurity technologies in healthcare industry
• Ability to process accurate information in a timely manner
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families and interdisciplinary team members
• Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects
• Highly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers for the team to ensure the team consistently meet established goals

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement WelbeHealth’s information security strategy and policies/procedures that align with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead the security operations function including incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and overseeing third-party vendor security
• Ensure the highest level of data security and privacy for customer and corporate data, including encryption, access controls, and data classification
• Build and maintain a robust security architecture that encompasses network, application and cloud security and endpoint protection
• Responsible for risk management procedures that follow risk mitigation strategies to protect sensitive information
• Oversee the deployment and management of security and compliance technologies, ensuring optimal performance and effectiveness
• Manage security incidents and investigations, while working closely with IT and legal teams to ensure quick resolution and minimize impact. Conduct regular tabletop exercises with leaders
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate security into the organization’s strategic plans and initiatives. Communicate effectively with executives and board members about information security-related matters
• Represent WelbeHealth during external security audits and liaise with law enforcement or regulatory bodies as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, while staying informed of the latest security technologies and threats
• Manage the Information Security team including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree preferred
• Certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
