Requirements

  • BA degree in a relevant field of study
  • 12+ years in marketing art production or project management, ideally within the mobile gaming industry
  • Knowledge of production methodologies and tools
  • Skilled in engaging with executive leadership to secure buy-in and drive alignment
  • Proven track record of working seamlessly with both creative and analytical professionals—artists, developers, and growth marketers alike
  • Expertise in translating business objectives into clear, actionable creative direction
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premier, etc) and relevant plug-ins, emerging visual AI tools
  • Familiarity with 3D animation tools such as Blender
  • Expertise in agile methodologies to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure projects meet deadlines and budget targets
  • Strong collaborator with key stakeholders to optimize workflows, resolve conflicts, and keep initiatives on track for successful delivery
  • Analytical and solution-driven approach, with a strong emphasis on identifying the root cause of issues and working towards measurable improvements
  • Ability to anticipate potential outcomes and prevent unforeseen challenges
  • A mindset of productive paranoia to stay ahead of risks and enable effective, forward-thinking decision-making
  • Proven ability managing a team of artists and motion designers to deliver high-quality marketing creative that drives business results

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and delivery of marketing art by developing and implementing production roadmaps, frameworks, and schedules that streamline workflows
  • Drive efficiency, ensure predictability, and maintain alignment with broader business objectives throughout the marketing art production process
  • Assess and communicate costs throughout the production cycle in order to balance high quality with quantity to keep us competitive in the market
  • Manage team budget, including scoping projects, people hours, and tools
  • Own the development of our marketing art toolkit by identifying production gaps and driving effective solutions
  • Lead internal and external teams to deliver high-quality, functional tools that streamline and elevate our creative workflows by ensuring clear accountability across the process
  • Collaborate with User Acquisition to review creative testing results
  • Understand which components of marketing art drive performance for the business and ensure artists are aligned on learnings and overarching goals to constantly level up their work
  • Establish clear, consistent communication frameworks to keep key stakeholders aligned on project status and progress
  • Own and enhance feedback loops to ensure artists have a deep understanding of how their work directly connects to business objectives, timelines, and budget considerations
  • Champion alignment and partnership across Marketing Art, Growth Marketing, and Game teams to ensure clarity on project goals and deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define strategic objectives, foster innovation, and maintain seamless communication throughout the entire production lifecycle
  • Lead and facilitate structured brainstorming sessions to generate compelling concepts aligned with performance goals
  • Effectively organize, articulate, and present ideas to stakeholders to gather feedback, refine direction, and secure alignment and buy-in
  • Strategically lead and motivate the marketing art team, balancing innovation with a results-first approach
  • Drive market research initiatives to deeply understand target audiences and stay ahead of competitor strategies
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and stay current with emerging industry trends, tools, and technologies—including AI—to ensure we maintain a competitive edge, uphold quality standards, and optimize development efficiency
  • Review and deliver strategic feedback on creative assets to ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines, upholds the highest quality standards, and effectively supports marketing objectives
  • Continuously evolve workflows, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency, scalability, and creative excellence in production
  • Oversee the organization and upkeep of a centralized creative asset library, ensuring easy accessibility, version control, and consistent adherence to brand standards
