Summary
Join Hello Heart as a Senior Director, Product & Manufacturing Operations to build and scale global product operations and manufacturing. Reporting to the CTPO, you will build and maintain strong relationships with global vendors and partners. Ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing, development, and delivery of high-quality hardware products. Develop and execute a strategic product integration plan, consolidating hardware and software portfolios. Implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals. Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including capacity planning and resource allocation. Establish robust quality control systems and collaborate with supply chain teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, chain chain, or procurement, with a proven track record in leading global manufacturing operations
- 3+ years of experience in working with firmware, ideally IoT or connected devices
- Proven ability to manage and optimize vendor relationships, multi culture negotiation capabilities, and source new partners
- Experience in hardware manufacturing and product sourcing, from early specs to mass production
- Strong ability to problem-solve on the fly, you're resourceful, proactive, and know how to make things happen
- A deep understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and cost optimization
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with legal, finance, and engineering teams to ship products
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute a strategic product integration plan, consolidating hardware and software portfolios to eliminate redundancies and enhance customer value
- Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals to drive competitive advantage, innovation, and scalability
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including capacity planning, process optimization, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Establish robust quality control systems to ensure products consistently meet industry regulations and customer expectations
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain a reliable, cost-effective sourcing and logistics infrastructure
- Champion lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance productivity across the organization
- Manage manufacturing budgets, aligning financial planning with operational goals to meet performance targets
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, cultivating a safe and healthy work environment
- Drive adoption of new technologies and automation to expand manufacturing capabilities and operational agility
- Deliver timely, data-driven performance reports to inform strategic decision-making and cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination across departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare, FDA approvals, and regulatory processes is a plus
- Willingness to travel frequently to manage vendors across the globe and ensure smooth operations and meeting deadlines
- Willing to travel up to 30%
Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $220,000.00 to $240,000.00
