Senior Director, Technical Program Management

Summary

Join MongoDB's R&D Engineering Technical Program Management team as a Principal Technical Program Manager! You will be the single-threaded program owner for MongoDB 9.0's Next Gen product offerings, partnering with various stakeholders to deliver features. This role requires 15+ years of experience leading complex technical programs and 10 years in software development, preferably with cloud storage and compute products. Based in West Coast offices or remotely in the West Coast region, you will leverage technical acumen and analytical skills to drive engineering programs. You will also mentor junior TPMs and embody MongoDB's core values. Requirements

• Experienced with 15+ years of working in an engineering organization leading complex cross-functional technical programs
• Experienced with 10 years of Software development background, preferably cloud storage and compute products
• Skilled at communicating across a diverse set of engineering and business stakeholders
• Hyper-organized and capable of coordinating across multiple independent work streams and organizations
• A role model for effective execution practices, driven by an attuned sense of priority and urgency
• Able to leverage their experience in program delivery to influence improvements to our tools, operations, and architecture
• Familiar with MongoDB or a comparable technology

• Leverage technical acumen and analytical skills to drive engineering programs forward and maximize business value delivery
• Recognize patterns in a sea of information and take action accordingly
• Design, maintain, and improve the processes and tools that power program delivery
• Build strategic partnerships with Product and Engineering stakeholders
• Expand knowledge into new domains as called upon
• Act as a mentor to junior TPMs and lead by example
• Embody MongoDB's core values and leadership principles
