Summary

Join N-Power Medicine as a Senior Technical Program Manager and contribute to revolutionizing drug development through innovative clinical trials. Reporting to the Senior Director, Program Management, you will lead software product delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely releases. This remote or hybrid role (Bay Area preferred) demands expertise in project management, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management. You will be responsible for creating detailed plans, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and fostering collaboration across teams. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelorโ€™s degree; or 3 years and a Masterโ€™s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years managing complex software programs across multiple engineering teams
  • Expert in project management tools such as Atlassian suite, Smartsheets and design collaboration tools
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies and/or clinical software development best practices
  • Proven success driving cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
  • Strong analytical capabilities for risk analysis and mitigation
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong track record of successful stakeholder management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation abilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage recurring decision-making meetings and implement prioritization frameworks
  • Facilitate team-level change activities, create change communication materials, and coordinate implementation of new processes
  • Lead change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption within teams
  • Create detailed business requirements documents and develop feature-level roadmaps while identifying gaps between requirements and strategy and validating against technical constraints
  • Manage small-scale program rollouts, coordinate cross-team growth initiatives, and develop implementation plans for new features
  • Provide detailed, strategic updates on program progress, key milestones, risks, and cross-team dependencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and addressing any potential obstacles that could impact delivery
  • Generate project plans and timelines for review and coordinate with team leads to understand staffing needs by facilitating regular planning meetings with immediate stakeholders
  • Make staffing recommendations based on skill requirements and identify potential timeline risks and escalates appropriately
  • Develop standard project documentation independently and produce regular status reports for team consumption
  • Creates budget tracking spreadsheets and dashboards independently
  • Analyze program metrics and identify trends and create regular status reports with meaningful insights
  • Develop basic effectiveness measures and KPIs; Present updates and recommendations for immediate improvement to program leadership
  • Identify and resolve documentation gaps
  • Manage system availability improvements and coordinate disaster recovery testing
  • Lead technical alignment across teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical goals
  • Facilitate technical program discussions across teams and bridge communication between disciplines and generate clear technical documentation
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and bridge communication gaps between teams
  • Build credibility across teams and manage sensitive project information
  • Assess risks across team projects, manage issue resolution process by creating risk mitigation plans, and coordinate dependency management
  • Guide technical program team on SDLC compliance and facilitate Agile ceremonies
  • Implement process improvements and lead team optimization efforts
  • Conduct system validation sessions, analyze feedback, and manage iteration cycles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of implementing organizational changes at the department level
  • Significant experience with healthcare data integration, including HL7v2 or FHIR
  • Strong background in clinical software solutions and interoperability
