Summary
Join Avetta's team as a Senior eLearning Designer and lead the creation of innovative learning solutions that drive performance improvement and learner engagement. Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver strategic e-learning initiatives, leveraging instructional design expertise and advanced technology. This role requires expertise in learning design, instructional design models, and eLearning development tools. A hybrid work schedule is offered for candidates within commutable distance to APAC offices, with preference given to those near the Auckland office. Full working rights in New Zealand are required. The role involves designing and developing e-learning solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and optimizing workflows.
Requirements
- Expertise in Learning Design
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theories, and performance-focused learning strategies
- Proven ability to create impactful blended learning programs that integrate technology, interactivity, and real-world application
- Mastery of eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Vyond)
- Strong understanding of LMS platforms, xAPI, SCORM, and analytics tools to measure learning impact
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software
- Exceptional ability to influence, coach, and lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities and navigating complex projects in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills to assess learning needs, measure effectiveness, and recommend improvements
- Experience developing reports and dashboards to communicate learning outcomes and ROI to leadership
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning and development, including leadership roles
- Strong background in developing and delivering blended and digital learning solutions
- Experience working with senior leaders and managing enterprise-level learning initiatives
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex, innovative, and scalable e-learning solutions tailored to business and learner needs
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs and align solutions with strategic goals
- Develop and implement measurement frameworks to evaluate learning effectiveness and ROI
- Lead high-level discussions with cross-functional teams to ensure learning initiatives meet business objectives
- Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of learning solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, Organizational Psychology or related field
- Certifications in eLearning, instructional design, or project management (e.g., ATD, CIPD, PMP)
- Experience in driving learning culture transformation within large organizations
