Requirements
- Possess a technical Bachelor's degree with a preference towards mechanical, electrical, environmental, or architectural engineering
- Have a minimum of 8 years' of engineering or work experience in a related area
- Demonstrate knowledge of Title 24, ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, and other energy codes
- Demonstrate the ability to write reports, technical papers, and provide technical presentations to knowledgeable audiences
- Have experience with data analysis, scripting, and large-scale simulations
- Possess project management experience including budget development and management
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills
- Be willing to conduct occasional business travel
- Pass a drug screen and authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
Responsibilities
- Conduct equipment review, measure development, new measure support and research, data analysis, and program technical support
- Develop analysis of the savings, costs, and other impacts of energy efficient and low carbon technologies in the context of energy policy
- Develop calculation methodologies to estimate demand and demand response potential for non-residential and residential sectors
- Write reports on technical topics, such as Title 24 case reports, energy savings analysis, cost-effectiveness analyses, and code compliance
- Support development of proposals and business development efforts
- Work in a team environment to lead the overall direction, management, quality control, and completion of project deliverables
- Coordinate and communicate engineering topics between technical and non-technical staff
- Develop and lead both short-term and long-term strategies to optimize energy savings, load management potential, and GHG reductions through codes and standards or other energy policy proposals
- Lead the overall direction, management, quality control, and completion of project deliverables, within budget and on schedule, with minimal oversight
- Monitor the progress of projects and communicating progress to management and clients
- Provide oversight and guidance to supporting staff for quality and compliance

- Salary is commensurate with experience within the pay bands of $92,000 - $125,000/Annually
