Senior Engineer - Developer Experience

Summary

Join Pleo's Developer Experience team as a Senior Software Engineer to support other engineers, learn about their pain-points, and enable them to do better work. You will be a force multiplier, building features incrementally, prioritizing early feedback, and iterative development.

Requirements

• Work in English with ease
• Have experience solving complex technical challenges at scale
• Ensure a high bar for quality and reliability within your team
• Coach others to help them develop as engineers
• Advocate for a more thorough code review process than a quick scroll to the bottom of the page and a 'LGTM!
• Regularly give and receive feedback - both positive and constructive
• Help design overall solutions, not just write code

Responsibilities

• Work in cloud environments / distributed systems / microservices (AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes)
• Use server-side languages (Kotlin and TypeScript) and testing frameworks (Cypress, Mockk, JUnit, Testcontainers)
• Apply DevOps culture and tools (GitHub Actions, Gradle, Terraform)
• Use observability and monitoring (Datadog) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
