Join Pair Team as a Senior Product Engineer and play a critical role in shaping and scaling the tools that power our care delivery. You will lead end-to-end development of new product features, from initial concept through deployment and iteration. This role requires owning core product initiatives, building scalable applications, identifying platform improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and guiding architectural decisions. Requirements
- At least 2+ years of software development experience as a high-performing individual contributor, building user-facing software at a startup
- Experience in both backend and frontend engineering
- Building complex web applications (required)
- Relational Databases data modeling (required)
- Passion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder
Responsibilities
- Own core product initiatives and drive full-stack development using modern web technologies
- Build scalable, high-performance applications that support both clinical and patient experiences
- Identify and implement improvements across our platform to enhance speed, reliability, and usability
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and platform engineers to deliver seamless, user-centered solutions
- Help guide architectural decisions that will support our growing team and mission-driven roadmap

- Ruby on Rails (preferred)
