Summary

Join Contentsquare as a Senior Engineering Manager in Quality Engineering to lead and scale a strategic Quality Assistance model. You will drive a proactive, automation-first culture of quality, enabling development teams to own testing while benefiting from standardized frameworks and a supportive ecosystem. Lead a team of experienced Quality Engineers, supporting their growth and collaborating with various teams to scale best practices. Build observability into QA processes and influence cross-functional priorities, shaping how quality is defined and achieved. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience in test automation, and excellent communication skills. Contentsquare offers a high-impact role with strategic visibility, team autonomy, and a culture of growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Quality Engineering with 3+ years in a leadership or enablement role. Youโ€™ve worked in fast-paced environments, ideally scale-ups or product-led tech companies
  • Strong hands-on background in test automation (frontend/backend/mobile), CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions), and quality observability. You understand how to build, maintain, and scale QA platforms in cloud-native contexts
  • You think in systems, not silos. You know how to turn quality from a gatekeeper function into an enabler of speed, confidence, and excellence
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills. Able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive quality priorities
  • You lead by example, support team growth, and create an inclusive environment that encourages initiative, curiosity, and ownership

Responsibilities

  • Promote a shift-left, quality-first mindset across teams. Champion collaborative approaches to testing, risk mitigation, and CI/CD integration from early stages of development
  • Define and evolve a company-wide Quality Assistance strategy that enables product teams to scale with confidence. Ensure automation and observability are embedded in delivery pipelines
  • Lead the standardization and adoption of robust test automation frameworks (e.g. WDIO, Playwright, Selenium, Appium) across frontend, backend, and mobile. Ensure tools are scalable, usable, and widely adopted
  • Define key quality metrics, monitor engineering health through tools like Datadog and internal dashboards, and ensure visibility for all stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4โ€“5 Quality Engineers (including seniors and leads). Provide guidance, coaching, and opportunities for growth in a high-impact environment
  • Be a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer-facing teams. Enable better collaboration, faster iteration, and smarter decisions across the organization

Benefits

  • Virtual onboarding, Hackathon, and various opportunities to interact with your team and global colleagues both on and offsite each year
  • Work flexibility: hybrid and remote work policies
  • Generous paid time-off policy (every location is different)
  • Immediate eligibility for birthing and non-birthing parental leave
  • Wellbeing and Home Office allowances
  • A Culture Crew in every country weโ€™re based in to coordinate regular activities for employees to get to know each other and bond outside of work
  • Every full-time employee receives stock options, allowing them to share in the companyโ€™s success
  • We have multiple Employee Resource Groups, that offer a safe space for individuals who share common identities, life experiences, or allyship to connect, support one another, and passionately advocate for the issues close to their hearts
  • And more benefits tailored to each country
