Requirements
- 8+ years in Quality Engineering with 3+ years in a leadership or enablement role. Youโve worked in fast-paced environments, ideally scale-ups or product-led tech companies
- Strong hands-on background in test automation (frontend/backend/mobile), CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions), and quality observability. You understand how to build, maintain, and scale QA platforms in cloud-native contexts
- You think in systems, not silos. You know how to turn quality from a gatekeeper function into an enabler of speed, confidence, and excellence
- Excellent communication and influencing skills. Able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive quality priorities
- You lead by example, support team growth, and create an inclusive environment that encourages initiative, curiosity, and ownership
Responsibilities
- Promote a shift-left, quality-first mindset across teams. Champion collaborative approaches to testing, risk mitigation, and CI/CD integration from early stages of development
- Define and evolve a company-wide Quality Assistance strategy that enables product teams to scale with confidence. Ensure automation and observability are embedded in delivery pipelines
- Lead the standardization and adoption of robust test automation frameworks (e.g. WDIO, Playwright, Selenium, Appium) across frontend, backend, and mobile. Ensure tools are scalable, usable, and widely adopted
- Define key quality metrics, monitor engineering health through tools like Datadog and internal dashboards, and ensure visibility for all stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of 4โ5 Quality Engineers (including seniors and leads). Provide guidance, coaching, and opportunities for growth in a high-impact environment
- Be a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer-facing teams. Enable better collaboration, faster iteration, and smarter decisions across the organization
