You will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of our finance operations and supporting strategic growth initiatives. Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of Big 4 and operational roles
- Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology environments preferred
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling capabilities and experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- CPA preferred, but strong technical accounting knowledge required
- Comfortable with ambiguity, extreme ownership and drive to build processes from scratch
Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger, monthly close process, and ensure accurate company-wide financial statement reporting
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes
- Drive revenue recognition processes, including reviewing and summarizing customer contracts for proper recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies
- Drive continuous scalability, automation, and efficiency in financial control processes
- Develop and maintain KPIs to assist with decision-making that aligns with company objectives
- Partner with the Head of Finance to support financial modeling and forecasting processes
- Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement
