Summary

Join Freshpaint, a rapidly growing software company revolutionizing healthcare data management, as a Finance Manager reporting to the Head of Finance. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of our finance operations and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to evolve into a Controller position or specialize in FP&A as we scale. Freshpaint is a fully remote company (U.S. only) with a strong emphasis on ownership and impact. Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of Big 4 and operational roles
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology environments preferred
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling capabilities and experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
  • CPA preferred, but strong technical accounting knowledge required
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, extreme ownership and drive to build processes from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Own the general ledger, monthly close process, and ensure accurate company-wide financial statement reporting
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes
  • Drive revenue recognition processes, including reviewing and summarizing customer contracts for proper recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies
  • Drive continuous scalability, automation, and efficiency in financial control processes
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to assist with decision-making that aligns with company objectives
  • Partner with the Head of Finance to support financial modeling and forecasting processes
  • Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement
