Senior Front End Developer

Summary

Join Finalis as a Senior Front-end Developer and play a key role in shaping the UI Design System for our core products. You will design and implement scalable and secure UI components, ensuring great user experiences. We seek a self-starter passionate about solving complex UI challenges. This role requires experience developing responsive platforms and mobile applications, building design systems for SaaS, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You'll be responsible for design system ownership, front-end standards, and collaboration and communication. We offer a 100% remote work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Have (5+) years of experience as a UX/UI Frontend developer or in a similar position
• Possess proficiency in both design principles and front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Have solid expertise in Responsive Design, with a deep understanding of crafting adaptable layouts and experiences that function seamlessly across a wide range of devices, screen sizes, and resolutions
• Possess experience developing and maintaining tailored design systems
• Have knowledge in algorithms, design patterns, and modularization

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, evolution, and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency across all products
• Build and document a React component library that is scalable, reusable, and adaptable across multiple product surfaces
• Define usage guidelines and best practices for seamless collaboration between design and development teams
• Ensure components meet performance, accessibility, and usability benchmarks
• Develop complex, interactive user interfaces using React with a focus on component-driven architecture and maintainability
• Propose and implement state management solutions to support scalable front-end applications
• Promote high code quality through best practices and thorough review processes, ensuring clean and maintainable output
• Foster fluid communication between design, product, and engineering teams to bridge technical implementation with design intent
• Proactively suggest ideas and improvements to enhance the user experience, optimize the design system, and refine front-end processes
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate product strategies and user needs into practical, technical solutions
• Implement the necessary changes to align interfaces with design standards
• Maintain and update the Storybook to ensure consistency across components

Preferred Qualifications

• Have familiarity with Chakra UI or other component libraries
• Have experience utilizing Storybook for developing, testing, and documenting UI components in an organized and scalable manner
• Have experience developing responsive platforms and mobile applications
• Have a proven track record of building design systems tailored for the SaaS industry
• Excel at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, developers, and product managers
• Possess a strong understanding of accessibility standards and have hands-on experience implementing WCAG-compliant interfaces to ensure inclusivity
• Have a passion for UX and crafting visually stunning and engaging interfaces
