Summary

Join Addepar's Transaction Experience team in Edinburgh as a Senior Front End Software Engineer. You will maintain and evolve critical services powering our financial data ecosystem, modernizing our architecture. The team builds user experiences, APIs, and analysis tools for financial advisors and wealth managers globally. You will implement scalable solutions, enhance user experiences, and establish processes for maintaining core platform functionality. The role offers both in-office and remote options. You'll collaborate with designers and product owners, contribute to a high-performing team, and mentor others.

Requirements

• Several years experience as a professional software engineer
• Experience of frontend frameworks like Ember, Svelte, Angular or React. We use Ember, so you need to be motivated by learning Ember if experience is with other technologies
• Collaborative in your approach to building feature-rich user experiences
• A curious person, who enjoys digging deep into requirements and handling complexity

Responsibilities

• Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver significant features on our platform
• Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team
• Help your team develop pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems
• Advocate for standard methodologies and process improvements
• Mentor and set the bar for an impactful team working in the core of Addepar

Preferred Qualifications

Experienced or interested in finance and a public cloud environment is a plus!
