Remote Senior Front End Web Engineer

Summary

Join our newly formed web team as a senior Front End Web Engineer to help build amazing user experiences for our award-winning mobile apps: Elevate and Balance. You'll work across all our web projects, mentor fellow engineers, and drive significant new development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software experience in front end web development
• Shipped at least one customer-facing product
• Helped build a web app from scratch
• Expert in at least one major JS/TS framework
• Passionate about user interface and user experience
• Experience building complex animations
• Write unit tests and develop code that supports automated testing
• Communicate clearly and are willing to give critical feedback to improve the user experience
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive projects to completion without a manager always directing your work
• Stay up to date with the latest web development news and technologies

Responsibilities

• Work across our entire web presence, including extensive new development
• Mentor fellow engineers, help them grow their skills, and stay open to learning from your teammates as you continue to grow your own skills
• Introduce new ideas to help the team iterate on process and technology
