Senior Frontend Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Frontend Developer and play a crucial role in developing and maintaining sophisticated web applications. You will manage web servers, implement containerization strategies, and collaborate with various teams. This position involves hands-on coding, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring technical excellence. The role requires significant experience in frontend and backend development, along with DevOps expertise. You will be responsible for designing and implementing web solutions using various technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with encompassing frontend, backend, and DevOps, with proficiency in WordPress
• Possess strong expertise in HTML, CSS (including BEM methodology), JavaScript, and PHP
• Be a competent and effective JavaScript ES6-literate developer
• Have proven experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins
• Have a solid understanding of web server technologies (Apache, Nginx) and SSI
• Have experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) languages, such as Java
• Be proficient in Docker and containerized application development
• Have experience with Jenkins pipelines and best practices in automated build and testing processes
• Have familiarity with headless CMS architectures and their integration
• Have knowledge of auxiliary services like VWO and GTM
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Have familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript + ES6, and React (Next.js)
• Be a competent and effective JavaScript ES6-literate developer
• Manage and optimize WordPress-based websites, including theme and plugin development
• Configure and maintain web servers using Apache and Nginx, ensuring high availability and performance
• Implement web design using CSS with the BEM (Block Element Modifier) approach
• Utilize Server Side Includes (SSI) for dynamic web content generation
• Work with Docker for containerization
• Implement and manage auxiliary services like Visual Website Optimizer (VWO) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Design and manage Jenkins pipelines to automate builds and tests
• Develop and integrate headless CMS architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development
• Be willing to engage in testing activities as part of Agile Scrum process when required
• Expand, be willing to learn other languages backend and frontend
