Summary
Join Bitwarden's Tools team as a Senior Front-End Engineer and contribute to building and maintaining core cross-cutting areas of our codebase. You will be responsible for developing new features, working on reports and other functionalities, and collaborating with other teams. This is a fully remote position based in the U.S., requiring expertise in Angular, reactive programming, and front-end state management. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of key product areas and contribute to a growing organization focused on open-source and internet security. Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in building complex Angular applications
- Experience with reactive programming using RxJS or similar libraries
- Experience with front-end state management systems
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for component styling
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset
- Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills
- Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security
- Excellent problem-solving skills β you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution
Responsibilities
- Become an expert and authority on Bitwardenβs core front-end codebase, including our web client, desktop client, and browser extension
- Participate in hands-on development of new features
- Work on reports, localization, generators, or file import/export functionality, among other tasks
- Actively engage with other teams to ensure our core code supports new features
- Participate in code reviews, learning and spreading technical knowledge
- Independently plan, estimate and deliver new work and bug fixes
- Occasionally contribute bug fixes submitted by the user community
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with concepts of modern encryption
