Senior Frontend Engineer, Remote - Europe

Summary

The job is for a Senior Frontend Engineer at Checkly, a remote startup specializing in Monitoring as Code (MaC) and synthetic monitoring for DevOps. The role involves building and shaping the frontend, collaborating with team members, PMs, and UX designers, and requires experience with Vue.js, Figma, and Storybook.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer preferably with VueJS building features in a team
• Experience using and developing a component library with Storybook
• Familiarity with Figma and FigJam, can sketch basic designs using existing components and communicate solutions to the team
• Ability to be autonomous and self-motivated in a remote work environment

Responsibilities

• Help build & shape our frontend
• Work together with frontend engineers in your team on our Vue.js based web app to ship at a high velocity
• Collaborate with backend or full stack engineers on your team to ship features together
• Collaborate with other frontend engineers in the company to keep us efficient and awesome
• Collaborate with our PMs and UX designers to create designs in Figma for your team

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
