Senior Frontend Engineer

Join CookUnity as a Senior Frontend Engineer and contribute to the development and enhancement of our customer-facing web applications. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create engaging and dynamic user interfaces. Leverage your expertise in ReactJS, NextJS, and other frontend technologies to architect and implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience across devices. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in frontend development and a strong understanding of modern frontend technologies and agile methodologies. Requirements

• You have at least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on frontend development
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, and Redux
• Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with performance optimization techniques and responsive design
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and ability to work closely with design teams
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies
• Passionate about delivering a great user experience and solving complex technical challenges

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement new features on the CookUnity web platform using ReactJS and NextJS
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
• Ensure consistent and responsive design across different devices and browsers
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend functionality with backend APIs
• Contribute to the development of design systems and reusable components
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and incorporate them as necessary
• Participate in the code review process and mentor junior engineers
• Help improve test coverage and automate frontend testing using tools like Jest and Cypress
