Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join CookUnity, a company revolutionizing the food industry by connecting chefs with consumers, as a Senior Frontend Engineer. You will be part of the Horizon Squad, responsible for developing and optimizing subscription and order management experiences on the CookUnity platform. Collaborate with a Product Manager and designer to shape product strategy, define OKRs, and chart the roadmap. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful impact within the team and organization, contributing your expertise to guide the product's growth and success.

Requirements

• You have at least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on frontend development
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, and Redux
• Experience with modern frontend build tools
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with performance optimization techniques and responsive design
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and ability to work closely with design teams
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies
• Passionate about delivering a great user experience and solving complex technical challenges
• Advanced level of English

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement new features on the CookUnity web platform using ReactJS and NextJS
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
• Ensure consistent and responsive design across different devices and browsers
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend functionality with backend APIs
• Contribute to the development of design systems and reusable components
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and incorporate them as necessary
• Participate in the code review process
• Help improve test coverage and automate frontend testing using tools like Jest and Cypress
