Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with VueJS or similar modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
• Proven track record of writing high-quality, testable code and automated tests
• A good grasp of basic web and browser ideas
• Proven skill in tackling tough problems, creating scalable systems, and guiding major tech projects
• Proven ability to clearly explain complex tech problems and offer detailed solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence the development of new features and steer the Mudflap product towards excellence
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Solve hard technical problems and simplify complex technologies for non-technical stakeholders
• Lead projects from inception to deployment, ensuring high quality and maintainability
• Adapt to the fast pace of a startup
• Mentor engineers on your team
• Champion excellence and innovation, seeking ways to improve products, processes, and practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Ruby-on-Rails
• Experience in a high-performance organization, preferably a tech startup
• Experience working with a remote team
