Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Whatnot, the largest livestream shopping platform, and become a Growth Engineer! In this remote role, you'll be responsible for expanding our new user funnel for both buyers and sellers. You will build out our core Incentivized buyer growth strategy, focusing on gamified incentives and offer experiences. This role requires significant ownership and a fast-paced approach to deliver high-impact features quickly. Requirements

• Have 5+ years of software development experience
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Be proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Be familiar with front-end frameworks, libraries and tools
• Have excellent product instincts; prioritize users over technical solutions
• Have a proven track record of delivering user-facing features; be known for shipping products and features quickly
• Have good communication skills in both written and verbal English

Responsibilities

• Expand our new user funnel across buyers and sellers to accelerate the rapid growth of our marketplace
• Develop opportunities to grow traffic across multiple channels
• Create delightful new user experiences to activate and retain buyers and sellers for the long term
• Build out our core Incentivized buyer growth strategy, including gamified incentives and offer experiences to continue to accelerate Whatnot’s rapid growth
• Significantly impact the company top-line metrics
• Prioritize the highest impact features and ship them quickly
• Research and find new opportunities to drive the product direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience working across the stack
• Have experience building E-commerce products
