Senior Full Stack Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer
• Deep experience with Django, Django REST Framework, and Postgres
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and frontend frameworks like React and Typescript, Svelte is a plus
• Comfort building, maintaining, and scaling APIs, databases, and frontend UIs
• Strong grasp of software design principles, testing, and debugging
• Familiarity with basics of DevOps like CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)
• Clear communicator and collaborator with a product mindset
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of key features and services across our stack
• Build and maintain performant APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
• Design efficient data models and optimize queries in Postgres
• Create seamless, responsive frontend interfaces with React, Svelte, and SvelteKit
• Collaborate closely with product, design, operations, and the founders to scope, implement, and ship features
• Make technical decisions around architecture, frameworks, testing, and deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Perform thoughtful code reviews and mentor teammates
• Optimize for performance, scalability, and maintainability at every level
