Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Komodo Health's MapAI team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge generative AI solutions for healthcare data insights. You will own key application functionality, propose innovative designs, and learn about healthcare data and generative AI. Responsibilities include contributing to the production codebase, partnering with Product Management and Data Science, evaluating new technologies, and collaborating with other teams. Required qualifications include 5 years of experience building web applications using modern technologies like NodeJS, Typescript, and React, experience with backend systems and APIs using Python, UI testing automation, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with chatbots, rapid adoption of new frameworks (especially LLMs), and experience with international teams. Requirements

• 5 years of experience building rich web applications using modern technologies such as NodeJS, Typescript and React
• Experience architecting end-to-end solutions and building backend systems and APIs using modern technologies such as Python
• Experience in automating UI user acceptance tests to enable continuous delivery
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues

Responsibilities

• Own the development of key application functionality enabling MapAI to address critical (and currently unmet) user needs
• Propose new designs and ideas for creatively finding ways around seeming obstacles to a high-quality user experience
• Learned about healthcare data and how to embed generative AI solutions into applications to solve critical problems for Komodo’s users
• Continual contributions to the MapAI production codebase, including reviews of your colleagues’ code
• Close partnership with Product Management in defining and realizing the best achievable user experience
• Close partner with Data Science in defining and realizing the best intelligent assistance features
• Continually evaluating new technologies and innovations that can be incorporated into our solution
• Collaboration with other Platform and Application Engineering teams when opportunities to jointly tackle problems arise
• Documenting your work to a high-standard, and rigorously ensuring quality of everything that is released

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with integration of chatbots within applications
• Rapid adoption of new frameworks and technologies, especially in the context of large language models
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with international teams (good conversational English level required)
