Senior Full Stack Engineer, Scheduling

Summary

Join Calendly's Engineering team and contribute to the development and scaling of our platform as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will collaborate with a team to build new features for enterprise customers, contribute to platform scaling initiatives, and work with various technologies like Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and more. The role involves working on a monolith being decomposed into microservices, requiring experience with SOA and monolith-to-services architectural rebuilds. You will also mentor team members and participate in on-call rotation. Requirements

• 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices)
• Experience with a Monolith to Services architectural rebuild
• Experience with Rails, Node, or a comparable web-app development framework
• A drive to craft clean, reliable and maintainable code
• Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

• Collaborating within your team to build new features that are targeted at our highest impact enterprise customers
• Contributing to platform scaling initiatives
• Meeting regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements
• Attending agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done
• Working across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly
• Reviewing implementation plans and pull requests from your peers
• Mentoring and coaching other team members
