Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience contributing to production codebases in Node.js/React/Javascript (Typescript)
• 1+ years of experience or demonstrated interest (side projects) in developing decentralized applications
• Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones
• Bachelor's degree or significant coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
• Solid fundamental knowledge of web application, API, and web3 development
• A dedication to continuous learning and a commitment to best practices across the whole technology stack
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• An Engineering generalist who is excited to learn new things and share their knowledge with his/her team
• Demonstrated interest in crypto — building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or whatever excites you in the space

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces that provide seamless and secure user experiences for interacting with on and off-chain data
• Integrate Web3 libraries and frameworks to enable interaction with blockchain networks, including wallet connections, smart contract interactions, and transaction management
• Optimize front-end code for performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions, while considering the unique challenges of blockchain data retrieval and integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Collaborate with the back-end engineering team to define and build API endpoints and data structures required for front-end functionality, ensuring efficient communication between front-end and back-end components
• Implement external system integrations that support our web applications and operations team
• Assist in the evaluation and integration of third-party libraries, tools, and frameworks that can streamline the development process and improve the overall quality of the product
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Web3 and blockchain technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the user experience and technical architecture
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience building crypto-native / web3 projects deployed on an EVM mainnet — especially using React, Node, and JavaScript (TypeScript); experience in DeFi, Solidity, TheGraph, serverless, cloud infrastructure (AWS), testing, or security are a plus
