Senior FullStack ReactJS Developer

Summary

Ideaware is seeking a senior React Developer to join their engineering team for a full-time contract position. The role involves working on an international Shopify quiz app project, with responsibilities including architecting front-end solutions, planning development sprints, and more. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field, 5+ years of experience developing public software products, proficiency in Typescript / React, HTML, CSS, exceptional English communication skills, and Shopify app development experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field
• 5+ years of experience developing a public software product or application used by real users
• Typescript / React. HTML, CSS, and other basic web skills
• Exceptional English communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the co-founders and other team members
• Architect and deploy scalable front-end web solutions and features
• Plan and execute development sprints, code deployments, and new product improvement initiatives
• Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve the existing app
• Refactor front-end code to improve performance and maintainability
• Create and deploy automated tests to improve the reliability and stability of front-end systems
• Upgrade and maintain the app's UI/UX

Preferred Qualifications

• Shopify app development experience is a plus
• Some full-stack experience (especially with relational databases and basic REST APIs) is a plus
• Familiarity with the eCommerce industry is helpful
