Summary

Join GoDaddy's Securities Analytics and Products Group as a Senior Software Engineer and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing secure software solutions. You will be responsible for building secure, highly available, and globally performant microservices-based platform on AWS. This remote position in India requires 5+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in Go, Python, and/or React, Typescript. You will collaborate with various teams and contribute to code reviews and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS technologies, databases, CI/CD workflows, and Git. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Go, Python, and/or React, Typescript
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of UI tools and frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies such as EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3 , CloudWatch etc
  • Hands-on experience with databases —both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB)
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps tools
  • Experience working in agile teams and deploying code using Git-based workflows and CI/CD technologies
  • Strong experience with version control software (Git preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant code deployed on AWS cloud
  • Ensure code quality through extensive unit and integration testing
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring your team's DevOps on-call responsibilities
  • Contribute to the technical documentation, code reviews, and mentoring fellow engineers
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases , ensuring scalable, efficient, and consistent data models
  • Build with observability in mind—instrument services with logs, metrics, and traces to ensure performance and uptime
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
